The focus of this programme is to train SGBs on the Handover processes and procedures, to allow a smooth transition and functionality from the outgoing to the incoming SGBs.
Provide the new SGB with records and information outlining the vision, the mission and plans in order to understand their roles and responsibilities and how the organization functions.
Ensure continuity of activities and plans so that the achievements of the outgoing SGB are not lost.
Assist the new members to improve the functionality of the school.
Ensure that SGBs are capacitated to perform their roles and functions as contained in SASA 84 of 1996 as amended.
